Jehovah’s Voice

Help & Support

Jehovah’s Voice keeps Scripture primary while providing study, listening, encouragement, and personal research tools.

Before troubleshooting

  1. Open Settings and confirm the displayed version.
  2. Keep the app open while a large optional Bible translation finishes downloading.
  3. Export a Study Backup before deleting or reinstalling the app.

Audio

Tap an active Read or Listen control again to stop it. Starting another reading or leaving its study surface should stop the current reading. Voice choices and speech rate are controlled in Settings and depend on voices installed on the device.

Offline Scripture

ASV 1901 is built in for offline use. Other translations are offline only after their complete optional download finishes. When a requested translation is unavailable, the app identifies any ASV 1901 fallback instead of silently replacing the text.

Saved study and backups

Notes, highlights, favorites, Study Trails, talks, and preferences remain on the device. Settings → Study Backup can export a file for safekeeping and restore it later.

Safety

Scripture-centered encouragement is not emergency or medical care. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988.

Contact

When reporting a problem, include the app version, device model, iOS version, and the exact steps that caused it. Do not include private notes or backup files unless you intentionally choose to share them.
